Have Come So Close To Buying As Seen On TV Memory Foam Mattress

I can't count how many times I have gone in a store, even when I wasn't looking to buy a bed, and have had to lay down on one of those memory foam mattresses. They are really just too irresistible to pass up. The foam cushioning just seems so inviting as it hugs your body and forms around your every move. So why didn't I buy one last year when I was looking for a bed?

Like the as seen on TV memory foam mattress infomercial where they say the visco-elastic foam senses your body temperature and your weight and then molds itself to your shape, this is the very reason I did not buy one. I had known some people who did have one that said, quite plainly, that they were hot to sleep on. And I don't mean that in a good way. They said the bed literally made them sweat. Not a good thing for me, so I skipped it and went for a traditional pillow top.

Now I don't have one but I did know some people who had a as seen on TV memory foam mattress. They thought it would be great at first but they had one big complaint, as I have since found out others have the same, that the memory foam mattresses are hot! Not hot as in 'cool' but hot as in fire hot. They say they sleep in them and just sweat all night. Not a good thing.

But to be fair I have to say that a friend and I went into a mattress store recently and they had one of these as seen on TV memory foam mattresses and of course we tried it out. For a long time. The sales people there gave us quite a demonstration, making the bed go up and down and having us do breathing exercises. I must say, if I wasn't in a store I would have fallen right asleep. It was that comfortable. And the sales people claim they had heard of the 'hot' problem before and that this is now solved.
